Covid-19 Important information
Allsco takes all necessary measures to limit the risks associated with the coronavirus and protect the health and safety of its employees, customers, and partners. The following measures are applicable for all our employees and customers in Allsco plants, warehouse and offices:

Procedures to be followed for Moncton Plant & Warehouse Employees as of April 20, 2020

  • Access to the plant from 7:00 A.M.
  • Enter the building at the front, side or back employee entrances, following the mandatory 2 meters social distance rule.
  • Before entering the building, complete the health questionnaire provided by the Supervisor at the entrance. Ensure that your name is clearly stated on the questionnaire.
  • Masks will be provided daily to each employee as a part of their PPE (Personal protective equipment).
  • If you are late reporting to work, you must find your supervisor first to complete the questionnaire and advise of your time in otherwise, you will be marked as absent.
  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds at the sanitation station designated by the Supervisor near the entrance.
  • Follow the defined corridor to go to your locker, lunchroom to bring your lunch to the fridge or directly to your workstation/work area while following the mandatory 2 meters social distance rule.
  • The social distancing of 2 meters must always be respected and in all areas.
  • If you must leave early, you must advise your supervisor directly prior to leaving the building.

Access to the office area

  • Avoid entry to the office area unless necessary or requested by Human Resources. Only one person may see a member of the office staff at any given time.  If you require assistance, speak to your supervisor first who will then reach out to Human Resources or the Director of Operations for approval.

Departmental rules during operations

  • Work within your department respecting the social distance of 2 meters and avoid any unnecessary movement through the plant/warehouse.
  • Clean and disinfect your equipment and work tools at the beginning and end of your shift as well as when you return from each break or the washroom, using the product available near your workstation. Do not share your equipment or work tools.
  • Put on your personal protective equipment (glasses, ear plugs, gloves, masks) for all work carried out inside the plant. Clean and disinfect them at the beginning of each shift and when returning from each break or from the washrooms.
  • Notify your supervisor before performing any task that requires a proximity of less than 2 meters.

Breaks and meals

  • Take meals and breaks as per your new assigned break schedule and avoid unnecessary grouping. Main lunchroom, no more than 5 employees at a given time.
  • Always ensure you sanitize your seat during meals or breaks.
  • Respect the 2-meter social distance during meals and breaks.
  • Respect the signage on the floor for line-ups to the microwaves, fridge and vending machines.
  • Do not share any personal objects, food, dishes or utensils.

Hygiene measures applicable to employees

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Wash your hands regularly during the day using the hand sanitizer available near your workstation and wash your hands with soap and water in the washrooms for at least 20 seconds.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the elbow of your arm.
  • Dispose of used tissues in a trash can as soon as possible and wash your hands afterwards. If you happen to sneeze on any equipment, ensure that you completely sanitize the equipment immediately.

Exit at the end of the shift

  • Use the identified exit door to leave the premises respecting the mandatory 2 meters social distancing.

Procedures to be followed for Moncton Office Employees as of April 20, 2020

Access to the plant from 6:00 A.M.

  • Enter at the main entrance, located at the front of the building following the mandatory 2 meters social distance rule.
  • Before entering the building, complete the health questionnaire as provided by Human Resources. Ensure that your name is clearly stated on the questionnaire.
  • Masks will be provided daily to each employee as a part of their PPE (Personal protective equipment).
  • If you are late reporting to work, you must advise your supervisor/manager first to complete the questionnaire.
  • Immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds at the sanitation stations located in the washrooms and proceed directly to the workstation.
  • Drop off lunch in the staff lunchroom, respecting the 2 meters social distance. The social distancing of 2 meters must always be respected, and in all areas.
  • If you leave early, you must advise your supervisor/manager directly prior to leaving the building.

Access to the Plant/Warehouse

  • Avoid entry to the Plant/Warehouse areas unless necessary.
  • The social distancing of 2 meters must always be respected, and in all areas.

Procedures to be followed for Allsco Warranty Technicians as of April 20, 2020

Access to the office from 7:00am

  • Enter the building at the front, side or back employee entrances, following the mandatory 2 meters social distance rule.
  • Before entering the building, complete the health questionnaire.  Ensure that your name and date is stated on the questionnaire.
  • Masks will be provided daily to each employee as a part of their PPE.
  • If you are late reporting to work, you must advise your supervisor first to complete the questionnaire.
  • Immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds at the sanitation stations located in the washrooms and proceed directly to the warehouse to load necessary material for that day’s job.
  • The social distancing of 2 meters must be respected at all times and in all areas.

Access to the Warehouse area

  • If there is more than one door to the warehouse area, mark one door as entrance only and mark the 2nd door as exit only. If only 1 door is available, ensure that there is a mandatory 2 meters social distance between any member entering or exiting the warehouse.

Access to the office area

  • Avoid entry to the office area unless necessary or requested by Human Resources. Only one person may see a member of the office staff at any given time.  If you require assistance, speak to your supervisor first who will then reach out to Human Resources or the Director of Operations for approval.

Departmental rules during operations

  • Warranty technicians working in teams of two will be provided with a mask that must be worn while travelling to and from the job site.
  • Clean and disinfect your vehicle and work tools at the beginning and end of your shift as well as when you return from each break or the washroom, using the product available. Wherever possible, do not share your equipment or work tools.  If both employees need use of the same tool, it must be disinfected between each use.
  • Observe social distancing rules whenever possible. When social distancing is not an option based solely on the function being completed, masks must be worn.
  • Kindly ask the customer to not be in the same room you are working in.
  • Ask Customer to sign copy of work order using their own pen. If a pen cannot be provided for signature, clearly indicate that on the work order.

Safe Handling Procedures of Masks

  • Wash/sanitize your hands before handling a mask, place the mask straps behind your ears, unfold the mask from the nose to the chin, ensure masks fits the cheeks, mold the nose clip to the shape of the nose as necessary.
  • Prior to removing mask wash/sanitize your hands, grasps the straps behind your ears and remove, gently place mask in storage bag provided for future use (if possible), wash/sanitize your hands after removal of mask.
  • Change mask when soiled, wet and uncomfortable or after lunch breaks.
  • Dispose of used masks in marked bins at the branch.

Breaks and meals

  • Meals and breaks are to be taken outside of the cab of your truck when working in teams of 2. Ensure that the 2 meter social distance between you and another person is respected at all times.
  • Do not share any personal objects, food, dishes or utensils. Bring your own utensils and dishes.
  • Warranty Technicians are not to use the customer’s washroom facilities.

Hygiene measures applicable to employees

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Wash your hands regularly during the day using the hand sanitizer available near your workstation and wash your hands with soap and water in the washrooms at the office or a remote location but not that of the customer.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the elbow of your arm.
  • Dispose of used tissues in a trash can as soon as possible and wash your hands afterwards. If you happen to sneeze on any equipment, ensure that you completely sanitize the equipment immediately.
  • Respect the 2 meters social distance between each person.
